What exhaust to get?

Hey i have an LSJ exhaust manifold and downpipe that will be going onto my car soon i just wanna get some feedback from those of you that have the LSJ dp/ex mani which exhaust would go best with it.

I have been thinking about going with the gm performance, dc sports, megan, or maybe vibrant.

u can get any exhaust made to fit cobalt w/out modification...depends what u want and future mods

GMPP is weaksause <<<<dont bother
DC sports<<<dont think any are in stock
megan<<<<really loud but good for the cost
Vibrant<<<beautyful exhaust, but very costly
MBE <<<cheap and gets the job done
CIA<<<nice tone, not to loud, but costly again
hahn<<<if you plan on making 250+whp in the future

i got the megan and love it. If you want loud its perfect for you, but like i do, leave the sliencer in for a quieter ride but also gives off a nice tone outside the car. Plus its 2.5" stainless steel so for what $330 shipped, its a bargain IMO

dude get the vibrant. i spent the longest time looking for an exhaust cuz i live in canada and tried like a million companies for a reasonable shipping price. i got a company to send the exhaust straight from the vibrant factory, which is located in canada

seriously the exhaust is so sweet, and i know ppl with the gmpp one and they wish they got mine. its louder, and has a nice grumble, but its not too loud where it sounds like a coffee can muffler. its perfect, and has a nice backfire too. hope this helps.

forgot to mention, i also wanted the vibrant exhaust cuz it has the nicest tip. seriously, look at the rest of the tips. dc sports is single wall... wtf so ugly. and ones that r 4" are ******* gay. 3" is perfect for our cars cuz they aint bombs.

The vibrant exhaust is less then the gmpp. Vibrant 489.99 and the gmpp 565.00 with out tip. unless your talking about the header downpipe and exhaust all together.

But another question say i go with the vibrant exhaust should i get the one for the 2.4/2.2 or go with the one for the 2.0 seeing as i will have the LSJ downpipe. Bc the fitment and hangers are all the same correct. The only difference is larger pipe.

gmpp is 2.25" exhaust...hes better off getting a lsj exhaust and just paying a shop to do the axel back...

Yeah but 2.25 is perfect for a 2.2. after buying an LSJ exhaust and the muffler of your choice + paying an exhaust shop to weld it on, you may as well just have bought the GMPP... Plus the GMPP sounds and looks great! Do not try to cross the GMPP iff this guys list. It is a very well designed exhaust

GMPP was made by borla BTW :p but still to small to do anything with, 2.5" seems to be the best size to allow room for future mods

Yes I knew it was designed by borla.. But unless you are doing FI or cams.. 2.25 is just right even for a fully bolted balt

I'm going with Tsudo in a few weeks. The price is GREAT (like 250) for a stainless system, and from what I've heard, it sounds great.

I'm partial cause I have the GMPP, but I had a Megans Racing or whatever, and I didn't like it at all. Get a used GMPP off here, it fits PERFECT, it's made for your car by the people that made your car. It sounds good, yet isn't annoying loud. Or if you have TONS of money, get a Corsa cause it's the best exhaust for our cars.

I have a saturn 2.2 qc

I got the tsudo exhaust and from the research I have been doing it give a nice deep tone without being loud and it gives nice gains.

I will be installing my exhaust system soon,

LSJ Exhaust Mani, LSJ DP (Gotta get a high flow cat) and tsudo exhaust catback

Let you know how it sounds

I went the Tsudo route, and absolutely love it, nice deep tones, not too loud. Great for the price.
