See those gold screw holes next to the throttle body? What screws there? I'm confused because my car doesnt have anything to screw there.

It's where the original intake setup snapped into place on my car. No screws involved.

My memory is foggy but I think that those were used to secure a wiring harness(es) in place that ran over the manifold? I don't remember the intake connecting to the intake manifold on those points.

there is a wiring harness snapped in between two gold bolts in the little black hole, but these have screw grooves. weird.

I dont think anything went in those. Remember the engine was designed for multiple cars / platform applications. Those might have been for a Cavalier, Opel, Saturn, etc.

looks like a reference photo, peroid. Wheres the little nipple under the TB for the brake booster? This is why I think it's a generic reference missing a key part any NA ecotec requires. I think the op was just bored and trolling around for some attention.

on the l61, at least the one I had, the brake booster hose goes in the drivers side of the manifold. there's no nipple by the tb.

answering the op if he's not trolling, there are only 3 or 4 of those screw holes that are used, two for a wire harness and one for the dipstick.

Good point. I'm thinking about the 2.4L IM that's on my car now, lol. Good call though.
