Here is a good site you can get alot of oil info from. And more than just the typical brand bashing with NO knowledge. Many users here post their oil analysis reports online.

Valvoline full synthetic for me too you can get 5qts at walmart for $15. Watch though, they say once you go full synthetic you shouldn't go back to conventional oil.

Olive oil works mint for me,J/K. I recommend 5w30 Royal Purple. I run 5k miles on it before changing and still looks good when drained. Mileage has been improved as well on our balt. Just my 2cents

I use pennzoil platinum 5w30. Before everyone starts flaming it, I chose this oil due to its repeated excellent performances in used oil analysis. I have a sample here that I will be sending to blackstone labs this week. Pennzoil platinum performs at the top of the list in just about every UOA I have seen.

Check them out, some of the findings in UOA testing may surprise you.

Never understood people that bought an oil that they felt the need to put additives in. Didn't you buy the wrong oil then?

Porsche and Mercedes-Benz AMG factory fill all their vehicles with Mobil 1 and cars like those will see more abuse than anything that you are me put on our LSJ's. That's without additives or anything special. Just the best oil made from the best stuff on earth. Like Snapple!
