i'm not too big of a fan of -aftermarket- boost, i love n/a builds. its what i had planned to do to my focus. cosworth had a setup for like 2000 dollars, and gets you up to over 200 whp, in stage kits, cams, tb, tunes, exhaust, blah blah blah.

wheres our damn stuff?!? all i can find is intakes and exhaust. hell theres not even a header that will fit all of the cars!! we are on our third model year already. wheres our throttle bodys/ intake manifolds/ tuning??? i want my n/a build damn it!! is it just we have a shitty engine that wont work with aftermarket stuff or is just everybody lazy?? lol. i'm not really mad, but it sucks that theres nothing for our cars..everyones making ***** for the ss's....

there are ported TBs made, as are there intake mailfolds that will fit largers ones (not sure how streetable). cams are gettable as are highflow heads and valve work. there are also quite a few internal setups in production... i don't see the issue.

Cams: ALL OVER THE PLACE! You need to actually look a little. Comp, JBP, GMPP, Level Zero...
Headers: Also a ton of them! Are you kidding? There is one known issue concerning air injection on some newer models, but everyone else has about 6 options.

Take it or leave it, but with the ecotec platform taking to boost so well, why would you want to go this route?

The j-body guys have had great success going turbo on the 2.2. They have daily drivers into the 11's actually

Once the tuning issues are resolved boost will always give you more bang for the buck with this platform

just my .02

It's a nice set-up. Comes with all the hardware and gasket. Looks like it will mesh up real nice with the down pipe they make as well. Both of those with the Vibrant 3" exhaust should make for a pretty noticable power increase and a very nice, non-rice, throaty sound. I plan on getting that exact set-up.

I just bought their header last night, and I have a tracking number right now. I was one of the lucky ones, my 06 2.2 doesnt have the EGR valve on the exhaust manifold. It was manufactured in August of 05. CA posted a pic of what the EGR looks like and I was able to verify that my car doesnt have it.
