HP Tuners, Diablo and SCT have all been tried many times over and they have all politely told us to go away...not gonna happen anytime soon.
If it wasn't for Garrett even SCT wouldn't have released what they had and if anyone else hasn't noticed...they haven't said anything about releases of other products, most likely because there are no plans to release any.
Keep dreaming is all I can say!
Maybe buy a Cavalier so you can get non-piggyback tuning...

Yup, it pulls timing like a champ and adds fuel when i need it(Via Speed Density). When it sees boost it adds fuel. It also has the ability to get past the governor. The issue im running into right now is that our Crank sensor requires 2 inputs and 2 outputs(which is all 1 smt-6 has), and the Road Speed Governor in the SMT-6 requires you to run the VSS(Vehicle Speed Sensor) line through the Crank 1 in and out on the SMT-6(which mine are already taken). But if i get another smt-6 ill run the VSS line through Crank 1 in/out on it and be able to get past the 105 governor.

Basically the only company you would need to petition would be Garrett.. THEY HAVE THE TUNE.. but they know they are the only ones (thru SCT).. And SCT isnt releasing ANYTHING... so until Garret get all the money it wants from the Turbo and releases its 1-whatevers... they will keep it to themselves.
why wont garret just sell us another pre-set tune, like a tune set for a intake, header, DP, and exhaust, and 2.0 injectors? like make some preset tunes to sell, that way we can have a bit more aggresive tune, even if we're not tuning for big ****

because Garrett sells turbo products, they could probably care less about anything that isn't going to have you running their kit.

omg guys give up. 2.2 is not going to be supported by HPT. the fact rests that HPT came on this website, and literally bodly stated that they will not support us.
i put my name on that list laughing to myself saying this wont happen. its not because of people like me who say that it wont happen that they wont support us, its the fact that anyone who has the money to buy the tuneing software and are into high performance bought the SS cobalts not the LS and LT's.
if u wanted a fast car, u bought the wrong model of cobalt. i'll admit it as well, if i could get a LSJ i would have, i have a peppy cobalt, but not a fast one. i have a 15.6 1/4 mile time and its in the top 10 for fastest 2.2 cobalts, trust me i want a fast cobalt to. get the Garret turbo kit if u really wanna go fast. they have SCT for software already, so just buy that if u want a fast cobalt LS/LT

maybe you should call this thread "who is willing to pay for this tomorrow" and see what kind of results you get. because everyone knows that probably only 25% of the people that sign up would actually spend the money. i think you'd have much better results that way. who is actually ready to give a deposit right now.
