Its not that you lose any torque, it just shifts the torque curve higher into the RPM band, which is why is makes more horsepower. Horsepower is a measurement of torque over a period time.

CED is Crate Engine Depot. I have never heard of carte engine drpot...

just got mine in the mail a few hours ago! and yes it does just shift the torque curve up but it also pulls now all the way to redline instead of dropping off in the 5,000's or so i have heard, we will see soon enough

It's about a 10 hp gain, but considering you lose a little low end, she might feel the loss more than the gain unless she drives it like she stole it everywhere she goes. Honestly, if your foot isn't planted you won't feel any difference.

which is why I'm dying to see if the Trifecta tune can do anything to reduce that low end torque loss. if the loss could be reduced significantly it'd be a great set up

HOLY SH$%!!! ONE guy does a dyno and HIS torque dropped 1-2 lbs-ft @ 1200RPM and suddenly there are posts that you LOSE low-end torque with the 2.4 manifold swap....fact is his torque reading was still higher than the stock readings (his base dyno "before 2.4 manifold dyno" was made with cat-back and intake).

In a performance application -- WOT off the line -- low end goes by rather quickly

You're right, but for those of us that aren't above 4,000 rpm's ona regular basis, the low end torque loss in an impediment.

I'm not going off numbers, but real world. I had one and there is a tiny drop in low end torque. For a car that doesn't have a whole hell of a lot of power anyways, it can be a noticeable change. With a tune, you should have no problem.
