wot box help

first off i got a 2006 cobalt ls

secondly my issue is that i cant get my wot box to work. on the wire harness there is a green wire that is supposed to hook up to the clutch pedal position sensor wire which is supposed to be brown/white. well according to the instructions there are 2 of these wires on the ECU but i only have one, additionally it says its pin #8 on the ECU harness....and its missing. well i looked at the clutch pedal and found a sensor or the plunger, well i wired the green wire into the wire that has power when the clutch is pressed down. so i followed n2mb's instructions again to test the 2 step...press down the gas, LED blinks, press down the clutch as well, LED is supposed to briefly go out, come back on solid for a second and resume blinking...well the clutch part isnt workin

HELP PLEASE!!!!

Did you get special instructions for the 2.2? I know it needs to be hooked up differently then the regular SS models.

the wot box can be bought with one of 2 or both features which is NLS (no lift shift) and 2 step.

NLS - when in boost, it cuts ignition for a split second allowing you to keep your foot on the gas so you can shift gears without losing boost

2 step - you can set it to so that you can launch at a desired rpm without having to feather the gas for example 2500 RPM. hold down the clutch then quickly hold down the gas, the engine will rev up to 2500, dump the clutch when ready and boom, youre off.

it also comes with other features as well. go to N2MB.com for more details

i appreciate the help man. its weird, the instructions said the brown wire was on ECU pin #8...but i didnt have a number 8 at all. a test light really comes in handy, i new that thing would come in handy for somethin.

If you have a laptop and the cable to connect to the WOT box, you can go to the site and download the firmware. Sometimes you have to switch the clutch to inverted. Thats what I had to do.

but was anyone else throwing a **** ton of CEL codes? when i was driving my power steering went out and my gauges went off and it all came back on and im like "what the hell is this?!"

Dont 2 step unless you have the bates/GMR hardend oil pump gears. The will crack and break and make you have a very bad day.
