Zam's first mod- K&N intake
Rims are expensive. I got 18" with tires and almost cost me 2k. Could have got a supercharger for that much... wish i did
To be honest with you guys I'm not looking to get rims that big. I'm perfectly fine with 16s, which no one seems to agree with me lol. But I figure it this way, I'm perfectly fine with the rims I have now (size wise) and they are 16's. I plan on lowering my car, which will make them look even better. I know we have pretty big wheel wells but I'm pretty sure I'm sticking with 16s, maybe 17s
Rims arent my next step anyway. Thinking some little projects before that.

I would want to say the opposite.. a longer intake path would usually mean more low end and a shorter path would usually mean more top end.
of course, this may only work to runner length/ volume after the throttle body and not really count for the intake... which I guess when you're WOT and at atmospheric pressure (read: 100kpa), just adds more 'plenum volume'...
I'm a bit rusty on my fluid dynamics.. haven't done much research on it lately.
I would also imagine that lengthening the intake would increase the time it takes for the air in the tube to drop to the same kpa as the intake manifold, but again.. i'm rusty..

Cover?
The cover that's in the middle of the valve cover(Says 2.2 on it), is that aftermarket or did it come factory? The top of my whole motor is covered in plastic. Would like to find just the vavle cover plastic and get the other stuff off.
the ecotec is a good looking engine, never saw the reason as to why they decided to cover it up with that hideous plastic cover (i guess for NVH douches complaining about hearing the engine maybe...)
the 06 still had wasted spark ignition which is why hers looks like that... the newer coil-on-plug and vvt 2.2s may look a little bit different.
