would CAM PHASERS be covered under my extended warranty or my powertrain???? (67000 KMS)

Should be. They're part of the powertrain and they aren't a normal wear item so unless you've modified them in some way they should be covered.

engine rattle

i got my cam actuators replaced for a rattle on start up and when i brought it home from the dealer, i started my car and guess what the rattle was still there......my car is going back Tuesday and i betcha there not going to be able to hear it.

It's only on cold starts, I did see an article written by a gm tech, it said this was caused by the cam phasers not getting oil immediately on startup, but it doesn't actually do any damage, so it may be annoying just isn't harmful

i brought it back to my dealer and they are going to ""INSPECT"" the timing chain tensioner. i brang it there tuesday morning and now it is thursday morning and never got a call back. good thing i DEMANDED a rental or id be car-less.
