Do cobalts have a vtec kick like hondas?

Ok there is a rumor going abournd saying that cobalts have a vtec kick kind of like honda but the only thing is that it's a vvt and civic have the same thing if i'm right. So if a cobalt has vvt do it have an eco tec kick instead of vtec kick?

Mr. viking-101, what you've just typed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

^^^ LMAO

I'll atleast give some info on this. In a VVT engine, the valve timings vary with the engine speed and engine load. This ensures that the valves open as per the need based of the engine speed and load. This small change in valve timings brings about a lot of improvement in engine performance, engine efficiency and engine power. In short, you can say that the role of the VVT system is to allow changes to the valve timing thus increasing the power and efficiency of the engine.

In short. It dosent just "Kick In" at high RPMs like Vtec. Its constintly in action. It allows the engine to run as smooth at low RPMs as it does at high RPMs. It allows for smoother accelleration at high and low end RPMs. It is now way like Vtec. Simple research could of told you that. Someone may want to secound what I said, but im pretty sure thats how it works.

Edit: And it also improves efficency due to the added smoothness in performance.
