E37 support is here!

We recently released our initial public beta release for these E37 pcm(powertrain control module) applications and testing is progressing very well, heres a sample pic of the progress we've made

finally the 2.2 guys have their own part of the tuning market

I'm sorry, can you please explain that in plain english for us hardware guys?

I know lots about motors but nothing about tuning?

Is that ethanol or something? Methanol injection?

Thanks!

I believe it's tuning software for the ECU in the newer 2.2L Cobalts

This screen shot kind of makes me want a LAP cobalt It's superficial, but that looks like a lot of features unlocked off the bat.

sorry, hard enough keeping up with the new pcm's like E37, E39, E86, etc. our current system allows us to support 2-3 new pcm's every year, unfortunatly gm alone releases 1-5 new pcm's every year so going backwards to cover those pcm's just isn't feasible, same with LT1 pcm's, same with northstar pcm's.

E16 support would of made more sense. Most E37 guys are still under warranty. It just seems like the easy way was taken to get just E37 support. 2.2 HHR , 2005-2006 Cobalt, ION, L200s, would of been over a million car market. Plus the 2007+ have had LS2 edit for a long time with hardly anyone using that. Also using a LT1 13+ year old platform compared to a 4 year old PCM is kind of silly. Hell 13+ years ago I was rocking a Pentium 1 computer.

I just realized the LAP is a 2nd gen eco block. Probably 400hp strong, and now tunable. I found a couple 09's locally under 10k with low miles hmmmmm. lol. I may have to retire the cav next year This E37 business looks WAY better than the support for the jbody pcm (and of course beats no support for L61 balts).

My thoughts exactly. Cheap 5sp base cobalt, + e-bay turbo setup would be a blast for a daily beater.
