i have a bad-mab header, catted zzp downpipe and gmpp touring exhaust. it sounds incredible. and royce, my downpipe didnt add any rasp at all, just a bit of volume. must be the magnaflow, those are raspy as it is compared to mine

I'm on like my fith exhaust set up, currently running a zzp longtube and a lsj catback. I like it feels good not overly loud. For a long time I had a cobalt addiction V1 header with a lsj dp and a Magen racing catback. Loved it, sounded mean as hell, car was just to slow for the sound and a little loud. But I liked it, then the flex pipe blew out, ran a 2.5 catless. WAY to loud, we're talking motorcycle loud, if not louder. Welded a new flex pipe on the lsj dp then the cat went bad. So I figured if I'm gonna spend $500 for a new lsj cat ii might as well buy a long tube. Pluse driving close to 100 miles a day the noise got to me went to current set up. Love it, a little raspy up high but every set up I've had has been.

ZZP long tubes with LSJ or LNF catback. Unless you just want the catback for noise then ZZP long tubes 2.5" mandrel bent cat back with your choice of rice on the end.

its the same chassis with an engine that has the same external dimensions so why would any of the SS exhaust parts not fit?

it might, but the floor plans should be stamped in the same die so it should fit. I'm not 100% on coupe sedan differences though.

2010 Cobalt LT coupe 2.2 with SS/TC catback - YouTube

Got my SS/TC exhaust installed. Typical crappy camera audio but sounds good in person.
