All LAP engines have the SAI.

I am just going to remove the whole SAI system when I install the supercharger and put on the LSJ header.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt SAI just a hole in your header that connects to that line coming out of your airbox with a check valve in between to allow fresh air to get sucked down into the exhaust valve? Couldn't you just get get an aftermarket header and drill a hole in it and weld in a bung to reconnect the system?

Well, it is a bit more complicated than that.

The hose comes out of the airbox to the air pump. The air pump has a tube that comes out to this really big switch mechanism sitting on top of the exhaust manifold.

Could you just cut it off the stock header and weld it on the new one? Sorry, Im about 1000 miles away from my Balt right now so I can't go look at it...

no. there is no true way to modify any aftermarket header to accomodate the SAI system. it's just a bit more complicated than you'd think.

i mean why would you want to make it work with sai anyway. take the system out. it's nothing but a hinderance.

get it tuned out by someone with a GM Tech2, or trifecta.
