IMPORTANT Exhaust Question

i installed my exhaust yesterday and i noticed a hole in the long tube part that connects to the downpipe. not sure what its called. the hole is about 1/16" in diameter. like a pen point.
is the hole supposed to be there??

If what you're talking about is what I'm thinking then that opening is there specifically to let condensation drip out so your exhaust does not rust from the inside.
