does water methanol injection work with NA cars? like any HP gains. knew a guy awhile back had it on his 2.2 cavi and he said it gave him a ''boost'' in power.

You would only get results from tuning it though, you can't just expect to spray it and instantly make power.

Noorjariri is right. Meth only makes gains by cooling the intake air and basically upping the octane of your fuel, allowing you to run more timing. New plan for you: boost + meth = win

Nitrous + stock motor = fail. That's how gm tested the limits of the 2.2 and what blew it up at the magical 250 hp that everyone is afraid of

That's because all motor builds on a 4 cyl are pointless. We don't have carbed v8's that can make insane power off just the motor. Sad fact is you could spend probably 10 grand on an all motor build and make less power than someone who spends 2k for a simple sc build. Performance costs money, its simple as that. And I was just messing with you with my comment anyways lol

Thats because all motor builds suck on these cars and will most likely cost just as much as adding boost.
