What to do?????

I am new to the site but was really wanting to no i have a 2009 cobalt 2.2 and was wanting more hp but want to do it the cheapest way would cheapest way be goin for a intake and what kind should i get the gm one or maybe a kn???????

Won't really gain any HP with just an intake. At least nothing noticeable. It'll change the sound of the car though.

i heard superchargers are expesive and go out quicker then turbos and tht u have to change out rods and stuff

Cheapest route is Blower, You can make more on a snail but the more you want the higher the cost. Your engine wasn't built to withstand 400hp like the SS's. You will need to invest into engine components if you want to make some nice numbers. In all honesty I think you would be quite happy with a M62 set up if you want some semi-cheap reliable power. A few people on this forum have boosted their N/A's look through some of the Forced induction forums you can probably find one and send him/her a PM.

maybe if you didnt have run on sentences that dont have any punctuation that maybe someone might help if you needed for it to be helped cause supercharge is easier than turbo n rods n stuff

You can run on stock internals with the blower, peicing it up urself would be a lot cheaper than buying a kit imo
