ZZP Supercharger on Auto 2.2 LAP
You're not the first so post up questions and I'm sure there will be people around to help.
I collected all of the 2.2 build threads I could find here: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-2l...thread-208355/

i know bout the forced induction builds for the 2.2 but my question is has there been a successful build on a automatic? i only know of one and that was a turbo build on the auto and it turned out really bad...has anyone supered a auto?
The only big difference between your build vs a 5 speed build is your downpipe is longer so you will need a special automatic one made if you plan do do a header back system.
and i believe your need to modify the front upper metal support where your headlights bolt to because your engine is further ahead in the engine bay and the supercharger pulley and belt will hit it.
Other than what was mentioned above it might be tough to get the SS/SC intake manifold in place, gotta do some wiggling, might need to disconnect the ac line (that's what hunter did).

Thanks, zzp has a set up for automatics but they only send the tune to the manuals so I would have to hit up trifecta, so 2000 for the super kit, 350 for the header dp combo, and 200 for the tune damn! And then tax, shipping, odds and ends like spark plugs oil and **** like that I'm looking at a goo 3000
I'm auto supercharged with the zzp stage 2 kit. Power difference is night and day. The major problem with the zzp kit is the intake system. I thought it was the tune at first but it was the intake. I had vince tune it. He told me I should try another intake and see if there was a difference. I bought the injen intake and the idle is 1000x better. So when you get the kit plan on getting another intake. I also know that all the parts zzp puts together are used before hand so there may be some problems with the supercharger like there were with mine.
Yeah, it is possible on the 4T45E. Just a few clearance issues you'll have to work around on the headers... but that is do-able.
Since you'll have the car apart anyways, go ahead and do a dual pass setup and option B (You should have room since you will remove the OEM air box.
As far as actual install, follow most of the guides for the L61. The only real difference that I know of is tuning, but Vince of Trifecta can do that.

Alright, so i also want to throw a zzp supercharger on my 2.2, but they say i would have to go to there shop to get it dyno and make a self profile for my car. thats all fine but i rather work on my car being that its my car. knowing that there pros and all makes me feel a little better. just i like to do it on my own. the only problem is, if i get all gm parts from there ss/sc will it work on the 2.2? and what do i do about the computer with the programing knowing the 2.0 computer will not work for the 2.2. tips/advice?
LAP 2.2 can be ran with super or turbo just like any other of the ecotecs.
Let the OP do his thing. He will love his car more than an LSJ because he will have put his time money and sweat into it.
Lastly, who are you again?
