1 down 2 to go for turbo



Just got this in like 20 minutes ago, this is the first of 3 things im waiting for to come in to start my turbo project completion. Still waiting on rk sport hood and garrett turbo kit, should be here friday if im lucky. permacool auto Tranny cooler w/ goodyear hoses, some random stickers, instructions and a free hat, how bout that?

im very exited to do a mod this complex and involved as ive never done more than bolt ons to any of my other cars. but yeah the hood is the turbo style with the directional air tunnel to my air filter that im having custom placed to stay at the scoop instead of going into the fender.

Where are you going to mount that long, skinny trans cooler? Is it designed to go across in front of the radiator?

im pretty sure its gonna be mounted above the intercooler somewhere but will have to wait till install to know for sure.

it was my installers reccomendation, not much room left after the turbo kit is installed so i needed a compact one.

well i hope it is good, i mean its only a 0.2 difference in liter output from the 2.2 so it shouldnt be off. the turbo has lots of upgrade options for the future anway

0.2L of displacement is not the only difference... higher CR... cams... there are other things that account for differences in power output.

we shall see what the track times and dyno says after install on how well this turbo will be matched, either way im gonna work with it

Don't get me wrong... I think you'll be fine with this turbo. I was just saying it's more than just displacement that matters.
