did you take off the fender liner? from there, there's one bolt and 2 push pins holding it on. when you have the wheel off, and the fender liner back, and you're looking at the silencer the bolt is behind it. should be able to feel it. once you get that off, it's just the 2 push pins, and if you give it a good tug it should just come right out.

for the 10,000th time, an intake wont void your warrenty unless it causes the problem, which would mean you would have to drive in 3 feet of water and hydroloc the engine which is very unlikely

don't bother checking with the dealer. they'll tell you the only way it won't void the warrenty is if you buy the gm part and have it installed at a dealer, which is a lie. 500 later for your intake

you can get an intake for the 2.2 to fit on the 2.4, but i dont think they are tuned properly for our motors. When i put a fujita for a 2.2 on my 2.4 i got CEL's.

You bought your intake from a 2.4. But do you yourself have a 2.4? Because i know for sure that when i bought mine, i got CELS even after clearing the ECU. THe code would not come up for a day or two but it definitly was a P code.
