if those numbers are correct you could hang with some stock ss/sc's that are out there.

You may want to swap out your clutch pretty soon too b/c stock 2.4L clutch is only rated around 200hp!

Nice! I'm definatley worried about those 2.4's now. I knew it wouldn't be long. Now let's get some ECU tuning for the SS/SC!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news BUT.. We've tuned more 2.4L's than anyone else and to be honest those numbers are WAY high.. We've done tons of Sol's Col's ect.. and even perfectly tuned they only make around 160-170 to the tires on a mustang dyno or about 170-180 to the tires on a Dynojet. I'm guessing this was a happy dyno, most likely not even a dynojet?

I am not saying this because I own an SS/SC but because your N/A car rated at 170hp is putting out 40 more horsepower than stock. I don't think those numbers are correct.

I have also seen a 2.4 SS dyno in at 158whp stock....

But If your car takes that well to mods, I am about to sell my SS/SC and pick up a 2.4 because you should be running mid 14's with those numbers.

He must have been in 2nd gear

I own a SS/SC and have a 2.4 SS for the week through work and their is quite a diffference in every department. Suspension, gear ratios, clutch, and engine. I doubt those mods will even get your WHP to 180.

Lets see the pics and what gear were you in.

I am thinking they reported flywheel numbers to Jerry, it has to be. Which with drivetrain loses would be around 170ish whp.

Oh yeah..with equivalent torque numbers and curb weight around 2800lbs or so yeah it is now Si territory. Figuring in a driveline loss of 15% of 210 or so puts it right around 180-185 whp and torque.

Awesome numbers man, can't wait to see the dyno chart

And all the fanboys say only Honda's can make that kind of power N/A. Not to mention you're making like 100 more ft/lbs of torque than a Honda 4 banger

So what is going on here?

I like the SS 2.4 just as much as the SS/SC but these numbers are not right. Who gets a car dynoed and then is told or speaks of flywheel numbers?
