2.4 SC Stock Boost Gauge Hook Up

So I have a stock lsj boost gauge. What would I need for it to work. Any info or part # on what I need would be awesome.

honestly i would just ditch it, and get a mechanical... but im not sure what youll need... im asuming a schematic to figure out what wires are what and you should be golden

I was under the impression it was the cobalt series boost gauge, but it turns out it's the stock one. So I'm just gonna go with it.

yeah i was going to get that one off my friend for free, but was told it would be wayyyy easier just to get a mechanical so i went that route... good luck tho

there is a sensor i believe in the LSJ intake manifold, but i am pretty sure the boost signal goes throough the ECM to deliver the readout. not sure if it is compatible or not. you may have to dig around here and find out man,

yea, thats vacuum...lol there really isnt a way to hook it up. ls1 is correct, the sensor is wired to the ECM and the ECM then outputs the signal to the gauge. The sensor alone is more expensive than a mechanical gauge anyways

i bought it online from one of the vendors listed in autometer's website. There is a little stem on the intake manifold (top side, in the middle) that you hook it up to. Simple as that

Yep, plugs right in. I zip tied mine initially because it kept popping off. But then a few weeks later I wanted to clean some stuff up and I disconnected it, re-connected (no zip tie) and it hasn't popped off since. meh.

yeah good luck trying to gut a stock boost gauge in your car...
i have a ss/sc and i went turbo, and i had to ditch my stock boost gauge cuz it was too much of a hassel to get it to work because its electronic
