2.4 SS Dyno #'s

Here my scanned dyno sheets. Two of the pulls were Mustang numbers and the third was DynoJet numbers.

I am actually surprised I got that high with my only performance mod being the Injen CAI.

For those that don't wanna read the graph, 171 whp & 160 wtq (About, cant remember the exact numbers the man told me)

Only performance mod is the Injen CAI. But I also have DC Strut bar and TWM Short Shifter. I also put synthetic in it if that makes any difference.

I should of asked him to write them down, but I believe the mustang numbers were 143/130, or somewhere around there.

The top one is dynojet. The bottom two are mustang dyno.

I thought that might be it...but it says Mustang dynometer 10:43 am. What's the difference between the two? Can you do both on the same machine?

dyno jet is the way to go.

Nice numbers

The 2.4L Ecotec has a very flat torque curve!

Isn't 171/160 the 2.4's factory rating? Flywheel ofcourse... but we all know how GM under-rates their cars.

he did both on the same machine i think the rollers are loaded for the mustang dyno then he unloaded the rollers and that gives dyno jet numbers

So which one would be closer to the whp amount the dyno jet or the mustang one because 171 is relly high for only an intake being whp because our car stock is only supposed to have about 140 whp.

What he said. I honestly didn't expect to get above 120 on a mustang dyno.

If you notice on both our sheets though, our HP never really flats out. So there could be some potential if the limit is raised a bit

So when you say changed the rollers....what rollers? Just change something on the computer? Cause there's no way he could change the rollers that were in the ground. At least not in less than an hour.
