there is also sts turbos that make a universal kit and mantapart.com has some stuff for the 2.2 but most of it could be used on the 2.4 and bates engineering also has some stuff... and I believe vortec makes a supercharger for the 2.4... other then that this is a great resource and a lot of help

So I am looking to put an intake, header and exhaust in my car
I would want to spend under $1800.
Should I go all GMPP? Or is there a good combination that you guys recommend?

you could do that...

zzp is running a group buy right now that is running 25% off

you can get a header/ downpipe from them for a good price

then you'd definately stay under 1800 "ebay" cold air intake from advanced jdm parts is 65 bux shipped then you just need a catback or a custom over axle stup ... orrr the cti over axle replacement lol

it can easily be done for under 1800

you can go gmpp but their stuff is very expensive and doesn't give the best gains so people usually go other ways

Kinda big for a 2.4SS unless its boosted though.

Also, I noticed you just have "short throw kit" listed. TWM Performance is the leading manufactuer of short shifters for our cars, and you can also get a shifter off of ebay for our cars by the brand "Cosmo".

Cobalt Addiction carries the AEM, Injen, K&N and the Fujita. They are also currently R&Ding their own brand (XTC) intake for our cars as well.

Nice list man. I just put a K&N Typhoon Short Ram intake on mine and it definitely makes a difference. Can't wait to get my headers, cat back and downpipe!

I found a K&N short ram intake for my Cobalt on muscleexhaust.com for around 250... HUGE discount.

seimens long injectors work us connectors.. over the top performance has them they are 60s though but if you're gong sced it doesn't hurt to have them instead of 42 in case you decide to do a pulley swap

Stock SS/SC injectors including the 42
s are not a plug in play with the stock injector harness. You need the harness for an 03-05 Eco in the cavi or sunfire.

If your a little short on money you can build your own CAI from spectre performance. I have one and it works great and only spent about 115 dollars for all the parts. I picked up all my parts at Pep Boys but you can also get the parts at autozone and kragen

nope they dnt work you need the harness from the 03 cavi.. what do you need them for though with a tune you can drop the IDC's on the stock injectors down to about 80%..
