ABS brake pipes

Does anyone know if the 07 supercharged ABS brake pipes are in the same place as the 08 Sport?
Will an LSJ CAI fit the same on an 08 SC if the opening is made?

So Yes you can run a CAI down that side BUT you will need to move your windshield washer fluid reservoir. Opening is already there.

Is it the same CAI as any LSJ takes?
ZZP said the CAI for an LSJ wouldn't work

Someone will need to chime in. I believe the lines are really close to the tube may need a little bit off bending. I think that is with their 3inch intake.

I posted on your other thread and i have an 08 g5 gt and an 09 g5 base. The 09 has no abs so the lsj intake fits. I have it supercharged and used lsj aem cai. The 08 gt has the abs lines like yours and i dont think the cai would fit. Maybe bending the lines a bit but i doubt it. We had supercharged an 06 2.2 cobalt wth abs and the lsj cai fit but pretty tight. The module was in a different position and so were the lines. But only way to find out is trying it out

Here's an example of how much I moved it forward and down to be able to add a CAI.

I plan on stripping the CAI today and re-powder coating Mirror Red like my NA tube.

I removed the ABS unit from the bracket and pulled it forward.
Made a new bracket and bolted it back to the frame rail.
Had to drill 2 larger holes in the frame rail to get nuts through from the outer side.

Smrt....

Drilling holes in your crash structure isn't advised.

You ever study collision repair? Even a small hole drilled into a rail can completely ruin the intended crush zone functions.

I haven't had an accident in 42 years of driving, but if I do have a horrific front end collision, I will let you know how it worked out.

I drilled into mine in order to boltup the heat exchanger. Some people delete the whole piece.
