I have an AEM on my 2.4. Its been on since October '06 and still works great. I'd say the K&N is the best for our cars, as its the only one designed specifically for our cars out of the three, but I chose not to use the K&N b/c the Ingalls ETD won't fit with it.

My exhaust note > my intake note.

In fact, my exhaust overpowers my intake to the point that I don't even hear the intake at all really.

If you go with full mounts ( not that expensive and better than ingals ) you wont have to worry about any fitment issues

full mounts are a bit too harsh for my liking.

i have the KN SRI intake, and it over powers my exhaust, it is by far the loudest intake out there hands down no questions, i have had a mustang gt owner ask me how many cylinders i had

needless to say..its the only one made for our cars..specialy designed..so something has to be right with it, its a SRI so you dont have to worry about getting water in your intake (like a CAI) only problem is it sucks up your engine bay heat...

Why go with GMPP when you can get Injen at about the same price and have the option of CAI with a much nicer system? No air damn in the bumper and you can get rid of all that engine bay plastic!

lol.....

ask any one of these people how loud my car is: HickOverLord, 2FASTSS, HerndonHighSS, Jigyflyuk, They Call Me E, Tsunam1..........I could continue. They'll vouch for me. Like I said, i've only met one guy with a louder 'balt. It was a red SS/SC I met at a MD meet. Actually, hold on, i'll find who he is.......

ok, his name is rallycobalt06. Same header and dp as me exactly, but with the Megan cat-back, plus mad tuning, and its a 2.0SS/SC with a tiny 2.6 pulley.........so it has the right to be louder, lol.

But trust me, I thought my intake was loud. But the header, de-cat downpipe and cat-back made it vibrate the entire car....you can hear me from faaarr away, lol.
