Anyone with a HAHN Turbo for this?
Anyone with a HAHN Turbo for this?
I have a Hahn 2.4L Turbo Kit (Auto) was curious if anyone else has one.
Ive been havin alot of issues with mine.
Running too rich, cant floor it without it boggin down and makin noises like its flooded with gasoline.
Heater doesnt work (coolant / vacuum issue).

the canned tune is for autos.. and the portfueler is not in production yet and has only been ran on the 2.0 so far.. I think ya mean the boostfueler
hes probably using hptuners
EDIT: woops sorry didnt no the tune did autos also.. just checked.. damn the 2.4s get the auto tune but the 2.2s dont..
did ya call hahn?

Call hahn plan and simple. They have a reputation of having great customer service so i'm sure they'll be able to help.
Have you been checking to see what the fuel pressure is doing under wide open throttle?
As for the heater, are you sure you have got all the air out of the cooling system?
PM me if you like.
I have called hahn on multiple occasions.
Whats the easiest way to burp the coolant system? Is there a bleeder valve on these cars?
Otherwise when it warms up some i'll have to jack up the front end, open the hood, take off the coolant cap and start the car and see if it burps that way.
Im pretty damn sure its running ruch when in boost. Under moderate throttle, exhaust goes to a nice crisp dark gray.
Plus im goin through gas like its going out of style and im not even hard on the car.

Take off the coolant bottle cap and make sure the bottle is full. Run the car till hot and let the coolant circulate with the cap off.
You need to check your fuel pressure with the provided gauge. It should be running at 25psi when not boosting and climb to 70psi when fully booting. If the pressures are off the car will not run properly.

Ok, so I burped the coolant system.
Cap off, hood open. Let it heat up till about 220*. Shut her off. Let her cool down for a little bit. (170ish* (i didnt see it circulating any coolant) then put the cap back on.
My temps are funny. It will climb to about 220* or so, then drop relatively fast to about 180*.
But, I know im running rich. Im gettin hit with a P0172 (i think off the top of my head) which is rich. But thats at idle.
I know when under boost, my exhaust will turn to a gray. (rich).
I didnt get a fuel pressure guage in my kit. I'll have to see if hahn will send me a new one.

So are you doing all this without a wideband? If you had a wideband installed you would know exactly what your AFR was and where your are running either rich or lean. Get a wideband before you blow your motor dude!

Mine was doing that temp roller coaster too for quite a while. Get her hot then open the cap on the bottle slowly, that makes the air come up if there is any.
Just in a past few days my temperatures have gone back to a relatively stable 192 as it used to before the install.
I also get the system to rich code when I idle too long. I have a dashhawk so I clear it off. I want to see if warmer weather takes care of that.
Definitely get the fuel pressure gauge, I'm planning on getting a permanent one as well as a wideband to better montor what is happening.
Ya, I have a Aeroforce Gauge. But thats only semi good with this setup.
It'll tell me if im in vacuum. thats about it. the max boost it reads is .2 psi.
I guess the ign. advance and whatnot is good.
I am thinkin of getting a air/fuel, boost gauge (30 vac, 15psi), fuel pressure gauges.
Gonna be fun to run that fuel pressure gauge into the car, unless i get a electrical.
