Black Injen SRI Before and After Pics

So I got my Injen SRI/CAI today. I put in the SRI for now and this spring I am going to convert to the CAI. Here are some before and after pics:

Stock engine:

Stock intake:

Stock intake removed:

Spot for the CAI extension:

SRI installed:

I was amazed on how much louder the engine got! 2nd Gear I notice it most. It really growels! I haven't noticed much gain just from driving it back to my house (from the 'rent's) but I hear after a week or so, the ECU gets used to it.

Let me know what you think of the black! Thanks TurboTechRacing!

First one I've seen in black... not too shabby.... give the ECU some time to get used to the airflow... then you'll notice.

I figured that was what it meant. I love the "growl" that it gets. Awesome!

first off the myth of disconnecting the battery is completely retarded........ we have a mass air flow sensor and the vvt.................uuuummmmm that makes up for the added airflow somewhere around immediately or somewhere shortly there-after. Can't wait till mine gets here

Damnit. Why must you taunt me with these pictures and references to growling? I'm stuck with my stock air box for another month or so. ARGH!!

: P

Thanks for the pics. I'm sure all 2.4 owners thank you. I think the engine bay looks so muc hbetter without all of that crappy plastic covering everywhere. I took mine off at the dealership. lol. Now I just need to get that pesky stock airbox outa there...

On the 2.2/2.4L make sure you use the discount code "INJENDISC1" to get the 229.99 price.

Since the Pursuit GT has the same Engine as the Cobalt SS/Na do you think that Intake will fit on the Pursuit no problems?

Should be NO PROBLEM.
AFAIK the "important" details are identical to the Cobalt.
