C'mon...

so i just bought a blue 07 4 door sedan ss n/a with heated leather seats :P i want to give it a little more "mmph" while still retaining daily driveability. so far i'm leaning towards:

Gmpp Cai
ZZP low end headers (if they aren't loud and obnoxious.)

I've already done the whole rice rocket thing on a 98' honda civic(first car) with a custom turbo kit with a big ass intercooler and custom 2.5" exhaust all the way out to a 3" chromed tip. with that being said, i'd like it to remain stock looking and just increase performance to where i'm satisfied....

Reason of building= i own a 2007 trailblazer SS that i'm going to sell for a down payment on a house..(25,000) and have been completely spoiled by the LS2 Corvette motor coupled with a 4 speed automatic transmission.... i need to find a way to give it up and be happy with my balt ^^

some side/side pictures of some of the best 2007 chevrolet SS models both in imperial Blue to come

cai: GMPP VS TYPHOON?
header: what would you recommend?
down pipe: recommend?
exhaust: don't really want to tamper with the exhaust for another year or so...
motor/tranny mounts: are they a good investment? like sway bars a-arms, etc.? what about struts? springs? etc.

tune: who can i get a reputable tune from in utah?

well this is a way to avoid searching and reading. If you want good power you can buy an LSJ setup for pretty cheap and supercharge your car. Otherwise you can get what they said. Get LNF Struts and shocks and Pedder springs for a badass suspension setup that you will be VERY satisfied with. Then a OTTP street bar.

thanks a million for the help fellas. i feel right at home here.

for suspension in running koni yellows on canuck motor sports springs.

i have a pace setter header. and a custom catless dp made by exhaust depot and injen cold air.

and mounts one of the best mods i did. shifts feel way better, less wheel hop etc.

also a twm short throw is a great option aswell

I have had both zzp headers on my 2.4 and have liked both. Pedders are very popular here for springs. But just do a good catback/header/downpipe/intake and tune.

oh the K&N makes more power than the GMMP intake. I personally have an injen on mine and like it. Though it needs slight tweaking for an automatic car..

i hope your kidding.

i muuuch rather prefer a fully adjustable shock/ strut upgrade than GM oe from another car.

besides for me.., new koni's are cheaper then new ss/tc struts which aren't even adjustable

Not kidding, SS/TC's arent adjustable...yet they are set to a pretty good spot and runs badass times around the ring. Pretty much the best bang for your buck. You like the yellows, do what you do. Just saying

Just something to think about...

K&N Intake: ~$300
ZZP Header/DP(stainless, 2.5", w/cat): $549.99
GMPP cat-back(from CED): $565.99
Tune: ~$300
TOTAL: ~$1716 before shipping
Gain: 20-25whp

Used complete supercharger setup:~$1500
Tune: ~$300
TOTAL: $1800 , assuming you install yourself
Gain(with stock 3.34 pulley and stock exhaust): ~80whp

If you have some mechanical ability, this is the way I would go for a boost in performance!

While I get your point compare apples to apples.
Compare new to new and used to used.

My parts run down so far is pretty cheap.

Used shorty zzp header - 125
injen intake - 180 (bought it new)
zzp downpipe 200 (buying it new)
catback - 400 (bought it new)
Eibach pro kit - 90 (bought new)
LNF gauge cluster - 50
DDM hids - 75
4th gen projectors - 200
moog FE5 swaybar endlinks - 60
and the tune for an NA I was qouted for was - 225

Now if the zzp kit is back in the market its 2200+shipping+tuning

I really havent put out that much cash and honestly if I had shopped for used deals on here I couldve done it a lot cheaper.

Also theres still questions about the reliability of forced induction on the 4t45 transmissions.

And to the op you might be happy with full boltons and a tune. If not then buy the full exhaust and if that doesnt do it then go sc'd.
Honestly at the point im at im pretty happy with my car. Once the downpipe and tune is on that will leave me pretty content.

But for a tune since your 07 you should be able to use HPtuners on your car. Or if you want another option then Trifecta can do it as well. And for us auto's a tune does help. I just sold off my jet module and even that little thing actually helped! Im noticing it now that its off! Though a full on tune is much better (which is why I sold it)

And for any links just go into the vendor section and look up ottp and zzp.

any reasoning?

it didnt slam my LT but it def lowered it and from what ive heard the pro kit/pedders are the only springs that increase handling

Look I would do bolt ons if u don't wanna get crazy. Cold air intake
Is what u want headers dp combo. I heard clear image is good. Then get a
trifecta tune! U will see like a 30-50 HP gain. I'm a 08 sport auto I'm
supercharging now actually dropping it off Thursday. I spent around 2200
With install and hptuners. So ya hope it helps.
