cold air intakes

which one gives you the most bang for the buck
ive heard good stuff bout the K & N typhoon but is it worth it?
also what about the GM performance intake heard good stuff about that one too :

chop off the stupid Resonator, buy a cheap mushroom filter clamp it to the end of where the Resonator was and take out the factory filter mine cost me $25 and works great
