Do you LOVE your car?

I was on my way home from work tonight and it just hit me. I Love my car (and not in a mount it while its in the garage kind of way). I like the way it accelerates from a stop, the way it hugs curves in the road, the sound system, this is like a luxury car for me. I dont think I will ever go back to driving an SUV.

How do you guys feel about your car?

When the weather improves and I can get both cleaned up I will post some pics.

I definitely love my car too (but should this post be in general cobalt ? or is this supposed to be "only" for the 2.4L ? in which case I shouldn't be replying )

my first brand new car
my second car ever..

the fact that I love this car made it SO easy to say goodbye to my good first car
(which I had for 12 years and served me really well)

I do still see my old car once in a while around town and get to go "aww look it's my old car, yay it's still running! ", then I downshift and romp on the gas in my beautiful new baby and remind myself of the HUGE step up I made

I can safely say (with my eyes all truly glossy) I love my car. sniff... sniff.... It gives me this warm fuzzy feeling every time I drive it. It completes me and complements me. I spend days and knights oh so dreaming about the next time I can drive her down that back surface we call a road. I even hear music playing every time I get in and start it up. I give it the up most of attention. I use the softest rags that I can fine and gently couress the cars body till it is nice and shinny. She dose not moan but I can tell she like it.

Well all of this talking has made me grow weary for its attention again.

I think I went a little over board with my description. : cough :cough .... I mean hey I :cough: love my car. How about them braves... Anyone see last knights game??? LOL.

I wouldn't say I love it...but I do like it alot. I think the car looks good (the rear is eeh...but the rest of the car looks complete). The car certianly does lack a little bit of build quality of many imported vehicles. I really don't like my seats. The SS n/a's aren't comfortable. If I had the SS s/c leathers, I'd adjust. But they're not. lol. I hate how there's no rear seat dome light. I love my 17 inch high polished SS rims. I really like my white faced SS gauges. I like the Pioneer system with the addition of my Infinity subs, but would rather have Boston Or Infinity like Chryslers. I hate the fact that Cobalt brakes are really good for a day or so, then pulsate and suck thereafter. I love my 2.4 engine. I love the acceleration in midrange. I love my FE3 suspension and the Pirelli P6's. I hate how the Pirellis collect those tiny little stones on the road though, then your car makes a "clicking noise" when driving by. I hate my little center console arm rest thingy. I like having dual cupholders. I'm indifferent about my transmission. I love my SS specific exhaust...but I wish it was a tad louder.

That's my story.

Who's with me that some company should make a 1:18 model of a Cobalt SS s/c?

The girlfriend loves the car.....................so much that she asks me to drive her to work all the time. I don't mind that much though, it gives me an excuse to drive it around more often. And after I drive her to work, I turn up the tunes and drive it around a bit more.

P.S. I love the winter Revo's so much that I look for the deep snow to drive in!!!!!!!!
