which dowpipe?

hey guys, i have a 2.4 ss with the gmp catback, planning on getting the gmp header and i'm just not sure which downpipe to go with. i know i can stuck with stock but i'd rather get as much out of my upgrades as possible. anyone know the best downpipe(s) to go with the gmp header?

The XTC Downpipe with cat seems to be the best buy, i have one myself. You can get them at cobalt addiction

hmm i dont know the exact hp gain but i know its decent from the high flow cat and slightly bigger piping. also i would recommend not getting the GMPP header because the CA header would be quite a bit better and much cheaper too..

In the VCM scanner, click on the DTC box and it will tell you what codes you have thrown. I have all of mine set to report no error.

VCM Editor>Engine Diagnostics>DTC's

Scroll down to the P0420 code to the right there will be a drop down with some options, set to report no error

zzp midlength combo is workin great for me and its way cheaper than buyin a header and dp seperate plus with a midlength setup you see more overall torque across a broader band

about same gains

with vibrant header downpipe and GMPP exhaust u should be at least 20hp+

plz dont go with gm header ..... vibrant is not cheap but no one ever had a problem with flex pipe going bad like other company's

plus TTR has a great deal on it and all ecotec can hook u up as well with sick shipping

good luck

Windsor

and no GMPP exhaust dose not come with a cat

GMPP exhaust comes with a resonator and a muffler
but when u get a vibrant header downpipe it comes with a cat

here is a pic how it looks stock vs vibrant
