E37 support coming from HPT

Didn't know if anyone found out yet or if this has already been said, but I got an email from Bill at HPT stating that they are just about finished with the beta testing for the E37. Long story short, this means us 08 2.4's and I also believe 07 2.2's will soon be able to get HPT on our cars

I was just so happy, I had to let everyone know

No man, I had a look at the beta, I just don't think they have updated the website for supported cars yet.

I'm going to be in and out of town for the next month or so, when could I expect my local tuner to have this tune?

No, why would we want to bite the hand that feeds us? If you plan on modifying yoru vehicle be prepared to pay for it if something breaks.

If it uses an E37 pcm we can flash/tune it now.

Most pcm's have a service sticker in which it would it would have the service numbers and on the sticker somewhere it would say E37 in bold black letters.

It will likely be physically stamped on the pcm(I know E38's are at least) as well.

It should be something like this
07-2010 Cobalt 2.2
08 Cobalt 2.4
07-2010 G5 2.2
08 G5 2.4
07-2011 Silverado/Sierra 4.3 v6
Sky & solstice 2.4
Newer impala V6's
Newer Malibu V6's

Probably a few others in there but those are the ones I know off the top of my head

They're too niche market for HPT to devote the time into unlocking them. The E37s are used in a wider range of models and years so the return on their time investment is near guaranteed.

I think Trifecta or someone like that can reflash 05-06s though so you aren't locked to using a piggyback controller.

I know they released an update that supports a large amount of new vehicles but but I can't find a list for the new vehicles that are supported.
