Engine Cover Question.

My girlfriend has an N/A SS and I was thinking about getting an Injen SRI for her. I have seen pics of them installed and I noticed that no one has the black plastic covering on over the intake. Does this not fit anymore when you put the intake on or are you guys just leaving it off for looks.

The reason I am asking is because I know she will still want it on there because it looks kinda crappy with it removed.

the black plastic on the intake is part of the intake. you could prob cut it apart and make it fit
