So to make it simple I'm swapping a complete 2007 le5 engine/5 speed trans into my 2007 l61. I have everything hooked up and fitting. All plugs/wires connected. The problem I'm having is the new e67 ecu has a third blue connector for body harness that the old e37 ecu is lacking. I'm wondering if it's possible to splice the wires from the old body harness to the new connecter from another e67 ecu.

Man there is literally a wealth of info on this forum about that. Check out Slowbalt2000's recent build and also HGT's.... I believe you might find an answer to what youre looking for in the latter's thread.

^ From what it sounds like, that is definitely do-able. Just my 2 cents.

Never done a swap like this but cant the e37 control the 2.4? My 2.4 G5 gt uses a e37 and so does my 2.2 LAP G5

Would have had to find and swap an engine harness, I just got the connector for the original pcm and spliced wires from old one together. I've yet to try and start it but everything seems to be there.
