Exhaust system questions??? setup help

Ok I'm new to actually posting on this site but I have a 06 2.4L ss auto, and I've been doing a lot of research about what exhaust/header system to run. So far I have a SLP loudmouth II catback system picked out and a dynomax pacesetter header/ will these 2 be compatible with each other? also I want to put on a K&N cold air. Thats whats in the plans, now will my stock down pipe work with this? I work at a local auto shop and these are the ones I can get @ a wholesale cost and also seem very decent for the $$$ so keep that in consideration...if you have any suggestions they are welcome.

if you get the pacesetter header you'll have to cut the down pipe. The pacesetter header is a mid length header and is longer then your stock exhaust manifold so the down pipe has to be modified. If you don't want to have to mess with the down pipe than you want a shorter header. Ex. Cobalt-addiction header, hahn racecraft header, aem header. You could get the OBX Header and it comes with a down pipe. It's pretty much a similar design as the pacesetter, and will probably cost you the same. But the header will throw a check engine light because it doesn't have a cat.

ok I get it now so basicaly the best way would be to get a header with the down pipe and converter and then make your cat back system
