I've hit 15.05 with just an intake. Marin007 hit 15.04 with intake, exhaust and springs.

I think I'll hit 14's with just the intake, or go stock to see if I can do it that way.

Probably would've had the fastest but I had to take the Turbo off cause I couln't get the tuning right. Nobody in the NW can tune it yet.

Will probably still be pretty fast 2.4 though, traded in turbo tune for performance tune and installed a 4-2-1 header. Should be runing again by the end of the week.

By the way I'm selling the turbo stuff I took off, PM me if interested. If you are close to Vector Motersports in MI than he could tune it in shop.

I think I've got to be in the mix too. I don't have leather, no sunroof and I have comprable mods, so not only is my car mad light its put down some pretty good cars on the street. Once I get to the track, I am estimating 14s if it stays cool.

Well im not an expert on cars or anything but i think a dyno measures the horsepower and torque of a vehicle. hope that helps you out.

dynos measure torque and calculate horsepower.

But the thread has to do with the fastest 2.4l... dynos are only for tuning not racing.

So if "dynos measure torque and calculate horsepower," and torque and horsepower are what makes your car move, is it not simple enough to think that maybe when comparing the exact same model of car, the one with more torque and horsepower will be faster then the one with less torque and horsepower? hmm....

NO! Because every dyno is different. Dyno racing is worse then mag racing but not worse then roll "racing".

Not exactly. Had the OP asked who had the highest HP 2.4L here, yeah. But by asking who had "the fastest" he kind of implied who has put down the best track times to date. Power will play a part in that, but so will vehicle weight, driver skill, track conditions, elevation, etc... Having a better dyno run than the next guy does you no good if you can't drive your way out of a paper bag.
