a few quick questions
Hey guys,
So, I started piecing together the s/c kit, but I have now decided to back out and sell everything. I have the stock s/c injectors left over, and was wondering about using them before I sold the stuff. I also went from my GMPP Performance to an Ark N2, but will now be going to either a GMPP Touring in a few weeks or just back to stock SS. Having that said, here's the questions:
1) Will I see any gain using the stock s/c injectors over my stock ones in my 2.4? I have them, so I figure that I wouldn't lose much even if it was the same. I know you have to tune the ecu for them to not run super rich, but that's ok. I plan on getting HPT soon anyway.. I seem to have a slight issue with my stock injectors anyway in that I'm getting a miss, so one of the ways to fix this was ultimately replacing the injectors anyway if it's not the plugs (new) or coil packs (unsure). Even if it's not going to do anything for performance, will it hinder anything in using them?
2) Will I notice a big loss in power going back to stock SS exhaust over the aftermarket set-up in terms of stock tune or with HPT? I know that HPT will further accentuate any mods you have, so removing stuff will hinder it. Should I still get a tune if I just have an intake then or just don't bother? I might still just go back to the GMPP, which would then still be ok.. As in, would it be worth it to tune with just intake and injectors or with intake, exhaust and injectors? I'm auto, so any tune will help me more..
Thanks guys!

I'm not really back to stock.. I had a header/dp on for a few weeks over the summer and it was insanely loud. So I removed it. And I swapped the exhaust around a few times, but am now going to a GMPP Touring. Otherwise it always had the intake on it since shortly after I bought it.. Dunno, just getting bored with it..

Eh, the blower was garbage, I had a stock pulley that I couldn't use, injectors I couldn't use (I wanted to do a stage kit and I'm auto so I couldn't use a stock pulley) and I still needed a bunch of money to build it that I didn't have.. lol
There's a thread in the classifieds with my parts to the kit, but it looks like someone is taking the whole group..
