Got a cheaper one that sounds and looks better and doesn't have the coffee can-style tip. There's a $200 shipped one from Japanimportshops. Just look up Cobalt 2.2 Exhaust.

It'll fit. As long as it's a 2-bolt flange at the cat.

Yeah, no problem, just when you get a chance, get under the car and look at the cat right above the resonator and make sure that it has 2 bolts and not 3, and so long as that's the case you're all good and I saved you $100 plus shipping. Matter of fact, giver me a minute and I'll link you.

Yeah thats the one I had also, just make sure you get longer rubber exhaust hangers for the muffler because if you don't it'll rub against your bumber and burn it. Trust me I know lol. Overall its a good exhaust you'll like it man. Do a vid once you get it.

I didn't have any fitment issues, if you heat up the stock hangers you can stretch them out enough... I didn't even need to heat them up though, they fit fine.

I checked out that link too. Of course it's for the
2.2 and I have a 2.4. I have a ss but it's not supercharged just has the regular 2.4 ecotec so would it fit? Also it says will it the 2 and 4 door? Might be noobish but how? I assume the 4 door exhaust would be longer then the 2 door version?

I have a 2.4 sedan and it fit fine other than the longer rubber hangers.

Only thing that differs between exhausts is the flange. As long as you have a 2-bolt flange, the exhaust will be fine.

Yeah I just bought a new set from napa for a few bucks, alot less hassel for me instead of stretching the stock ones.

Didn't even think of that! You could always get the flange changed. It's gonna cost a little extra but that's a good idea!!!

That's true. I mean can't you just boil them or something like that? I didn't bother with it, I just pulled like hell and eventually got them over the hangers and there's no fitment issues. It's been almost 10k miles so I figure if they were gonna shrink back the would have by now.

No problem. I'd run it by an expert real quick before you do anything but I'm pretty sure they'll work.
