I wouldn't expect to long.. I was quoted two weeks for my custom turbo kit and thats with tuning. So maybe a week or less I'm sure it won't take long.

Install time is approximately 8-12 hours on most kits according to my sales book. The first time mine was installed it took me and a buddy 13 hours WITH making the exhaust. The last two times I've had the whole turbo setup minus fuel mods back on in under an hour. Once the main components are on it's easy as pie.

I couldn't believe that the original thread was locked when I saw it, but after reading the last few posts on it I can see why. Glad to see that another thread is on here for updates. Hopefully we can keep this one restricted to informative inquiries.

I haven't seen this question yet but some people in here don't exactly have the money, time, or patience of a Stage 2 T/C like me, mainly because I dont want that much HP as the stage 2 and all of the problems that MAY come with it. My question is, how much is that stage 1 and do you have the HP/TQ ratings available. Thank you

As of now there is no stg2 in the making, nor is there any plans for one to be made....unless there is enough interest shown according to Bill

quick interjection...this $4500 figure is a bit inflated. I see our Stage II 2.4 system coming in at $3500-$4000.

the only system they have coming out soon is the Stage 2 for manual transmissions

although if they wanted to offer a Stage 1 kit it wouldn't be hard, its just going to be a stage 2 minus an IC and larger injectors and only running at 5psi or something to that effect.

Question

Bill, When you get a chance to filter through all the off-topic comments...

1. How much more $$ and how long for a carb legal sticker?

2. If carb sticker/changes where not available until later next year, would it be possible to buy the kit on release and "upgrade" to carb later.

3. With the PCM modifications you make, do you set those to read only or would we continue to be allowed to tune our own cars with HP Tuners/LS1-edit?
