vote and post why you think the option you picked will happen..will the turbocharged 2.4 hang with the ss/sc?

 

I don't think it will just hang with an SS/SC, I think it will outperform an SS/SC...as would a turbocharged 2.2.

I'm sure whatever turbo they choose will be much more efficient and make more power (free power) than the roots blower.

More displacement + a more efficient power adder...no question which will be better.

 

well its a bigger engine that has F/I--morre liberal in the tunning.

It will beat a stock S/C SS--easy. Well it should anyways

 

A turbo'd 2.4 should beat an ss/sc without any problem, on low boost at that. stock ss/sc are running mid/high 14's and the 2.4's are running low 15's. Running low boost like 8lbs should drop close to a sec off your 1/4mile.....who knows maybe more....only time will tell.

 

the solstice kit dynoed at 242 @ 8psi. And a guy on solsticeforum.com ran a 13.6 with the kit his first time out but said there is definatly more in it and prolly can run low 13's and maybe high 12's.
