Header questions!!

I'm still with the stock, as far as engine, 2.4 LE5, with the exception of an intake tube..

I'm wanting the Hahn Racecraft MaxFlow Downpipe/Cat and the 3” Stainless Steel Exhaust System street version.. I was wanting the Stainless Steel Shorty Header from Hahn's as well, but it will only fit the 2.0s..

Is there another good header that can be used other than stock so I can still use the Hahn Racecraft MaxFlow Downpipe/Cat and the 3” Stainless Steel Exhaust? Or at least a better solution with a good sound?

3 inch is way to big and you'll loose hp. you want a 2.5 inch exhaust. try this one here.

05-10 CHEVY COBALT EXHAUST - BOLT ON - (ALUMINIZED - 2.5 IN)

the header should fit your car just email or call hahn.

I should have seen that before I posted.. I was looking at the 2.5 inch exhaust, just got lazy and copied and pasted the heading for the deal they have going on..

I'll give them a call when I get a chance and see if it will, under the description it says, "*This header is designed to fit exclusively on 2.0 Cobalt and Ion RedLine. It is not compatible with 2.2 or 2.4 liter engines." Maybe they will have something else that is not thrown out there on their site.. Thanks..

they may say that, but all manifolds/headers swap between cars, unless you have SAI

Header should fit without a problem. As said 3" exhaust is way to big and you don't want that mandrel exhaust. I've seen people say they don't fit properly plus you would actually be downgrading because stock exhaust is stainless and that one is aluminized. Look at ZZP's catback for the best bang for your buck.

this. the only things that dont swap are the LNF intake manifolds. those ONLY fit the LNF without modification. but as far as exhaust. they all swap.
