Sorry man none that I have seen in the past what 4 years! I know our filter blows but I don't think you could relocate it.

It'd suuuure be nice tho. hint hint hint to any manufacturers listening.

Why relocate? Its in a great spot already and very easy to reach.

The bolt is a weird socket though, I had to search about 3 auto stores and bring it back to the jiffy lube, lol.

it's a 1 1/4 in socket. I found one the first place I went to.

Yep. 32mm socket or 1 1/4 inch socket. I really don't think that the oil filter is in that bad of a spot. On the SS/SC the SC is kind of in the way, but it still isn't hard to get to.

I got a cup tool that is a perfect fit really cheap on E-bay. Just FYI.

Oh, and the filter is in the same place on the SS/SC as well, right under the freakin SC.
You have to have very acrobatic hands to get in there.

When I had my basebalt though, I loved the filter being up top.
Very easy to get to and change.

yeah same tool I got probably. its low profile and made just for the filter caps.

luckily I have small hands and can get the SSSC filter out ok!

Well i think he has a 2.4 in a trophy truck. Look up about the older ecotecs not sure if they use the same filter or not but its worth a look.
