Header, downpipe, tune, 60 lb or 42 lb injectors, E85

Theres only 1 person that has had the 2.4 over 200whp (201whp)

This topic has been covered previously, please search.

That being said intake, TB, exhaust, long tubes, 60's running E85 and ZZP cams could get 220 whp I think. When my car was still NA and running 60s/E85 it pulled real nice all the way to 7200, I remember logging 21 lb/min VE if that helps you at all.

Don't waste your money on NA parts. Save up for a turbo or supercharger kit.

Won't happen without a couple thousand. You could do a nitrous kit tho, I think they're like $750 for a decent wet kit and you could def hit 220 wheel

Nitrous all the way. 2.2 can handle a good bit.

You can get a fill SC kit for $800-$1000.

After that, just look for someone willing to shoot you a good tune. You won't NEED to replace your clutch soon as long as you take car of it. I've been SC'd for nearly 10k miles with my stock clutch and still no slippage and I'm at 83k miles.

You'll want to invest in some gauges though. I'd highly recommend an interceptor, boost gauge and a wideband afr gauge. Total cost with kit and gauges you're looking at around $1200-$1400.

Then you'll be around 215-230whp on a stock pulley, 42# injectors on a 91 octane tune.

My setup, minus my 2.5" ZZP catback is in my Sig currently and this is my DD. Plans for a clutch, E85 and smaller pulley are already in the makings. That will bring me in the range of 280-300whp I'd imagine.

Nos would be cheapest, supercharger would be best.

That's pushing it a little bit, I think it would be more like 250-260. A buddy of mine had his 2.8 M62 LE5 on E85, bolt-ons and ZZP cams put down 260. Great power and torque curve but no matter what M62's on the 2.4 aren't built for peak numbers

300whp needs tiny pulley to hit that like 2.6 at least.

Well see what my 2.2 does when its back in the car.

Ported head, 82 lbs, E85, 2.6 pulley, midlength 1.75" header and 2.5" exhaust.

Then I bought my beater car with a nitrous kit on it....

Im not using nitrous on the beater car

Really only 260ish with 80s, E85 and a 2.8" pulley?

Yeah I think it was 265, every dyno is different tho and I think it was on a mustang. Hope you see 300 though man, but I think it might be a stretch.

Nick that's awesome, how big a shot?

Probably start with 75 then get a progressive controller for a 100.
