Insulating CAI

As the weather turns hotter in Louisiana, I've noticed that my Injen CAI is soaking up a ton of heat from the engine bay, which is in turn reducing the density of the intake charge and negating the + effects of the CAI.

Does anyone know of some type of spray-on insulating material (or an insulating wrap) that I could use to reduce this heat soak?

The metal tube and elbow is far to hot to touch without burning your hand. Has anyone else experienced this?

header wrap

Header wrap is used to wrap headers and hold in the heat to increase exhaust gas velocity and decrease engine bay temps. If you wrap your CAI tube with header wrap you will be keeping a lot of that engine bay heat from being "soaked" up by the intake tube.

If it's a foil type cover it will reflect a lot of heat. Wrap it with header wrap and then put this cover over the top and lace it up and you'll have things all cool in yo tube.
