intake

I'm debating on installing gmpp intake or injen which is better and do i have to cut anything with the injen i have a lease on the car so thats kinda important

I have the GMPP and am beyond happy with it...and if it is on a lease I would stick with the GM stuff...

Mine is a lease aswell and I installed the Injen..... and yes... I LUV IT!!
personly I thought the GMPP Intake was a little over priced... My stock GM brakes are crap.. so I figured I gave GM enuff money LOL

IT might be a stupid question but i've seen pics of the gmpp intake and where does it get its air from if the hood seals the top is there an opening on the side thanks

I took out my stock resonator because I put in a CAI and it fit like dog ****.

It gets its air from the same place as the stocker does...from a resonator tube in you passenger side from fender...

Yep, as pointed out here it gets air from the stock intake location (below the filter, through the side of the fender). You could always get an RKSport hood and put your stock hood back for when you turn in the car. Then the GMPP would be the ONLY way to go!

Only downside is that to make the GMPP affectiv... you need to do what you did (Wich I think is Awsom).. but that mod makes it pricey

I just got mine today ( Friday ) from TTR Turbo Tech Racing ) Injen is a Awsome Intake. No CEL problems or anything. Did not have to disconnect my battery or anything. Sounds great and looks great. Black. And I have the Sunburst Orange SS 2.4L Greats combo, and the DC strut bar looks great too
