Intake question

So I'm considering buying an cold air intake for my 2.4L, but I'm confused about the wide range of prices. I've found them as low as 40 and as much as close to 300. I don't want to spend too much, so I've been looking at this one. Will this work?

Spend the money on a quality intake such as Injen

I'd recommend paying for a good quality intake too. They're more expensive because well-known companies will spend money on research and development to make sure you're actually gaining as much as possible. A $40 intake might bring in colder air due to placement, but you can't be sure the tubing is designed in a way to optimize airflow.

its a pipe with a filter.... you can buy your own pipeing at a autoparts store, and then just buy a k&N oiled filter for like 50 bucks..

Honestly if it was that easy we all would do that.... if that was the case
U could buy a eBay intake and would work as a injen intake. Which haven't heard of
I'm not saying it can't be done just might not get What u expect...

You could also go with the GM short-ram if you still have a warranty left.

i have a 2.2/2.4 injen CAI laying around if you want it. better quality than an ebay p.o.s.

the filter needs to be cleaned. 100 shipped.

All but Fujita did their homework. Comment left on my car domain:

Oh i got ya. Yeah i dont blame you dude. The reason why i asked if your engine light was on was bc i had that problem with the light comin on bc of the CAI b4 i altered it. Come to find out the MAF sensor port was positioned in a bad spot (right at the bend of the tube) so the air wasnt hittin it right which threw my light on. And the code kept sayin system too lean. Apparently the sensor needs to be on the straight part of the tube so it reads right. Awful design. Never buy Fujita intakes btw. Haha.

Oh, I don't doubt they are real, just the validity of it. By working wonders, I'm going to go a head and assume you mean the bad wonders; like a Pedobear in the woods while you're camping bad.
