Thumbs up Just Installed Weapon R (updated pics)

and all i can say is wow. Car sounds like a ******* beast and i can really feel the throttle response. definatly worth the 230 sounds great and looks sweet under the hood.

I Know the Bracket Looks ugly right now thats cuz it was about midnight when i installed it and i wanted to take a test drive.

Everything fit together easy. installation took about 15 minutes.

It did tear my hood lining just a tad, but that was before i tightened the bracket. been driving it all day and the tears havnt gotten any worse.

That's the way to go lol. Today, I was about to install my Maf Translator on my lunch break before going back to school. I decided not to just incase I ran into any problems.

got it from http://www.pareena.com/osc/catalog/p...ducts_id=26816

thought it was kinda wierd a store like that would sell something like this. but it came shipped to my doorstep like 2 days later so i'm not complaining. looks like it was just shipped straight from Weapon r itself. but it was 233 after shipping.

Immediatly i could feel the engine wake up, great throttle responce and seems much quicker in the lower RPM's. Sounds great too. Took me no more than 20 to install and didnt throw a CEL and i didnt even have to reset the ECU

Interesting product, did it come with the bracket or is that something you made? Mounting the bracket to the shock tower might not be the best place, what about mounting it to the stud on the valve cover ( just to the right in the first pic )?

he used the stock mounting threads....that's where the 2.4l airbox bolts up to. But yea, looking good, but o was wondering the same thing about the bracket...did you make that yourself?

THe bracket came with the intake... its easily bendable and supports it quite well... i'll eventually install it to another bolt and hide it out of sight, just there in the mean time

I think that will help in the appearance department, someone needs to come out with a nice looking bracket for it.

The noticible gains between a CAI and short ram are minimal. talking a few Horsepower.

The 2.2L and 2.4L engines share the same intake setups so it's a safe bet that's the one he bought.
