I love my catless down pipe, and the way it sounds. (2.5" XTC de-cat). But then again, I love loud. My RX-7 was loud, and my Cobalt is loud. Plus, we don't have emissions out here, so it didn't affect me either way. Loud and proud baby, loud and proud.

But yeah, I'd heavily reccomend getting the downpipe, and doing the header and downpipe at the same time. It'll be a lot easier and less time consuming to knock them both out at the same time. I did my full exhaust (CA header/XTC 2.5" de-cat DP/ARK N2 cat-back) all at once, and it made life much easier. If you do it in pieces, your gonna have to go back and unbolt things (like your new header from your stock downpipe) you just bolted up prior to doing the downpipe.
