The K&N for the 2.4 isn't a cold air intake, its a short ram air intake.

IMO Injen is better intake, turbotech is having a sale on them I think

Avery, iv also been looking at this and wondering what people thought. A lot of people said they like it. I haven't heard of anyone not liking it and they all love the noise so I will probably be getting the k&n

I'm having trouble imagining how the k&n intake sounds. YouTube videos seem like it doesn't make any noise at all but according to everyone that has one it is loud in a good way. What would you guys compare the noise to.

aha weird thing is you r right as far this car goes. injen makes the best cai for the cobalt. although i have to say. i wouldnt buy an injen for any other car really. k&n and AEM and champs in my eyes. but aem made a filter basically for this car that the charge the same price for as the full piece tubing and all. and k&n makes a good cai but injen like u said makes the best intake for the cobalts for watever reason.

True like I wouldn't get a Injen for the LNF, I would get K&N or Hahn. But K&N is the best intake for other vehicles IMO

yea man. id go with injen. the injen is cheaper if i remember. to be honest i dont think ive ever actually heard the k&n in person. ive heard the injen and the AEM which i have. mine AEM was LOUD when i got it. now that i have a full exhaust i cant hear it as much as before but still loud. but the k&n and the injen are probobly relatively close to being as loud.

What is a better air filter? K&N oiled filter or AEM dry filter?

ha as far as filters go.. ill be honest. i wouldnt really know. ive got the AEM dryflow and i love how easy the cleaning is. but the dry flow and the oil filters perform just as well from what i can see.

neither...injen has the AMSoil EA filter which is best. It concentrates on filtration while still putting out good flow
