K&N filter for GM CAI?

Sorry if this has been asked before (but I already did a search and couldnt find anything)

I remember awhile back reading a post about a k&n cone air filter fitting on the gm cai?

anyone know if this is possible? itd be nicer to buy one air filter and just clean it instead of spending 40 bucks for the gm ones.

thanks

The GMPP filter is offset, if you try to put a filter on there that doesn't have the same offset you will break the plastic lip.
